1. Are your kitchens locally made?

Yes, absolutely! We take pride in manufacturing all of our cabinetry 100% locally at our Oakleigh South factory, which is situated behind our showroom. We also provide opportunities for clients to visit our facility and inspect their pre-setup kitchens before they are delivered.

2. What are your construction materials?

All cabinet internals (or carcasses) are manufactured by Complete Kitchens, using Australian-made 16mm High Moisture Resistant (HMR) Boards with 1mm abs edging, all cabinets also have 16mm solid back. We don’t cut any corners when it comes to the quality of our products.

Our general production timelines are as following:

* Manufacturing time begins from date of production drawings are signed off by clients.

** Above timelines are estimates and not guarantees, and may vary depending on project size or scope, as well as the complexity of the project.

2. How long it takes to get my stone benchtop installed?

When your benchtop templates are ready for collection, the stonemason will be notified and they have around 15 working days from this time to install your benchtops. Stonemason will arrange collection in “batches” so may not attend on the day scheduled, however will contact you to make a time for access. Your stone will be installed as scheduled unless notified otherwise.

When your benchtops are ready for installation the stonemason will call you to arrange access.

1. When do I get an ETA of my kitchen installation?

Once you approve and sign off the production drawings, an ETA will be provided so you get plenty of time to plan ahead. Our scheduling team will communicate with you and confirm the date one week prior to installation.

2. What do I need to do to prepare for my kitchen installation?

-Trades: If you or your builder organize the trades, make sure the trades to be booked to co-ordinate with the cabinetry installation;

-Access: If no one will be home, please provide a Keysafe and code for our access.

Make sure required items are on-site and the access to work areas are clear.

Clear away all of your personal property from surrounding area and cover your furniture with plastic or sheets to protect them.

Floor protection is strongly recommended and to be organized by clients.

3. What’s your cleaning standard?

Our installers and trades will take care to ensure the dust and debris is minimized. All the waste will be removed from the site, the bulk of dust will be vacuumed up. However, your kitchen or affected areas are basically building zones, detailed cleaning will still be required from the owners or professional domestic cleaners.

4. Can I install your kitchens myself?

Yes, we can supply our kitchens to you as pre-assembled or flat-packed Ex-Factory items for you to pick up or have delivered. However, please keep in mind that our kitchens are fully custom-made and designed to be installed by professional installers. We do not provide a “Do It Yourself Guide”.

Although you may be able to assemble and install the kitchen yourself, we highly recommend having our professional installers do the job. Our installers are highly skilled and experienced, and only a kitchen installed by Completed Kitchens is covered by a 10-year warranty.

We’d like to share a review from one of our clients regarding his comparison of DIY Kitchens with our Complete Kitchens.

1. Do you recommend and help co-ordinate all trades?

If necessary, Complete Kitchens can recommend qualified tradespeople and coordinate them for your kitchen renovations. This includes demolition, plastering, electrical, plumbing, tiling, and carpentry needs. Please note that we do not arrange flooring and painting. It is the client’s responsibility to arrange ALL flooring, whether new or for replacement/repairs.
