I. SERVICES 

1. Do you replace benchtops or do small alterations of kitchen?

At Complete Kitchens we don’t offer the service of small alterations or replacing just your kitchen benchtops.

We specialize in kitchens for new homes and full kitchen renovations, we can also do any cabinetry inside or outside of your home, eg. vanities, laundry, living room, bedrooms, alfresco kitchens etc., all of the above projects can include new stone bench tops if requested.

If you are wanting to replace your cabinet doors or bench tops, try Google the companies who specialize in face-lifting.

2. Do you do bathroom renovations? 

Although Complete Kitchens is a registered builder, we don’t do bathroom renovations. However, we can recommend you a domestic builder who specialize in bathroom renovations, we can also build your vanities.

 3.  What area do you serve? 

We serve all areas of  Melbourne and most of its surrounding suburbs, especially South Eastern Suburbs.

4. Do you come out to do free quotes? Do you provide quotes by email? 

Sorry, we don’t do free in-home quotes. To book a designer to come to your place, we do charge $250 redeemable fee to provide you professional in-home design consultation service instead of a free high-pressure meeting.

We don’t send quotations by emails either without meeting clients. If you send through your plans via emails, one of our designers will call you to arrange a showroom meeting.

5. How can I get a detailed quote from you? 

At Complete Kitchens, we have a qualified designer team to provide our customers comprehensive design services.  Based on the designs, measurements and your selections of products, our designers will produce design drawings along with a detailed quote to present to you in our showroom.

If you have your own design and measurements already but just wanting a quote from us, we can definitely assist you with the pricing. Just give us a call to make a showroom appointment.

6. Do you project manage the kitchen renovations ? 

We provide Trade Coordination Service instead of full project management to keep your kitchen renovation budget friendly. Based on clients’ individual requests, we can estimate the trades (Plumbing, Electrician, Plaster, Tiler etc.) and if the coordination service is required, we will book and send a Trade Schedule to you a couple of weeks prior to installation. All the dates will be advised upfront so you can plan ahead.

 

II. PRODUCTS 

1. Are your kitchens locally made?

Yes,  our cabinetry is 100% locally manufactured by our experienced in-house cabinet makers. Even better, our factory is located just right behind our showroom in Oakleigh South, which allows our clients to visit the facility even inspect their pre-setup kitchens prior to delivery.

2. What’s your cabinetry standard? 

As a standard, cabinet internals are manufactured by Complete Kitchens are made utilising Australian-made 16mm HMR Boards with 1mm abs edging, all cabinets also have 16mm solid back. We don’t cut any corners.

3. Who supply your doors and hardware?

We offer our clients a range of only the best products from our premium suppliers or partners: from cabinet doors and panels, hardware, benchtops, sinks and tapwares and appliances selections…

We are proud to partner with Polytec, Laminex and premier polishers, painters and Veneer merchants to provide our customers with the finest quality and wide range of choice of finishes for their cabinetry.

Hardware is supplied by our preferred German supplier – Hettich. We also use Blum and Hafele products.

4. Do you sell appliances? 

No, we don’t. However, we have Miele and wide range of premium brands of appliances from E & S Trading built in our display kitchens. We can refer you to Miele Showroom or E & S Trading Showrooms, our professional contact there will help you to choose the appliances.

 

III. WARRANTY

What type of Warranty do I get?

Complete Kitchens warrants to repair or replace any cabinet carcass that suffers a failure in its structural integrity as a result of materials or manufacturing defect without charge within 10 years from date of installation.

The warranty period for our cabinet doors, bench tops and internal fittings against defective materials or faulty workmanship is subject to manufacturer limited warranty.

We specify Hettich or Blum hardware for our kitchens who offers a Lifetime warranty on all drawer runners, hinges and drawers; Polytec provides a 7 years warranty to their products be free from defects.

 

 

IV. LEAD TIME

1.What’s your lead time for the cabinetry?

We have standard construction timeframes depending on the finishes:

Laminate finishes    4-5 weeks

Vinyl wrap finishes  6-7 weeks

2 pac paint finishes  8-9 weeks

Veneer finishes & French Provincial kitchen 10-12 weeks

* Manufacturing time begins from date of production drawings approved by clients.

2. How long it takes to get my stone benchtop installed? 

When your benchtop templates are ready for collection, the stonemason will be notified and they have 10 working days (2 weeks) from this time to install your benchtops. Stonemason will arrange collection in “bathes” so may not attend on the day scheduled, however will contact you to make a time for access. Your stone will be installed as scheduled unless notified otherwise.

When your benchtops are ready for installation the stonemason will call you to arrange access.

 

V. INSTALLATION

1. When do I get an ETA of my kitchen installation?

Once you approve and sign off the production drawings, an ETA will be provided so you get plenty of time to plan ahead. Our scheduling team will communicate with you and firm up the date one week prior to installation.

2. What do I need to do to prepare for my kitchen installation?

-Trades: If you or your builder organize the trades, make sure the trades to be booked to co-ordinate with the cabinetry installation;

-Access: If no one will be home, please provide a Keysafe and code for our access. Complete Kitchens can supply a Keysafe at no cost if needed ($100 bond required).

Make sure required items are on-site and the work areas and the access to it are clear.

Clear away all of your personal property from surroundings and cover your furniture with plastic or sheets to protect them.

3. What’s your cleaning standard?

Our installers and trades will take care to ensure the dust and debris is minimized. All the waste will be removed from the site, the bulk of dust will be vacuumed up. However, your kitchen or affected areas are basically building zones, detailed cleaning will still be required from the owners or professional domestic cleaners.

4. Can I install your kitchens myself?

Yes. If you would like and confident to install even assemble the kitchen yourself, we can supply your kitchen as Ex-Factory (Pre-assembled, to be picked up or delivered) even in flat pack. However, please note our kitchens are fully custom-made and designed to be installed by professional installers. We do not supply “Do It Yourself Guide”.

We recommend you to have kitchen installed by us as our installers are highly professional and the “Completed Kitchen” installed by CK will be warranted for 10 years.
