1. Are your kitchens locally made?
Yes, absolutely! We take pride in manufacturing all of our cabinetry 100% locally at our Oakleigh South factory, which is situated behind our showroom. Our highly skilled and experienced in-house cabinet makers craft each piece with attention to detail and quality. We also provide opportunities for clients to visit our facility and inspect their pre-setup kitchens before they are delivered.
2. What are your construction materials?
All cabinet internals (or carcasses) are manufactured by Complete Kitchens, using Australian-made 16mm High Moisture Resistant (HMR) Boards with 1mm abs edging, all cabinets also have 16mm solid back. We don’t cut any corners when it comes to the quality of our products.
3. Who supplies your doors and hardware?
At Complete Kitchens, we are committed to providing our clients with only the best products from our premium suppliers or partners.
We are proud to partner with Polytec, Laminex and premier polishers, painters and Veneer merchants to provide our customers with the finest quality and wide range of choice of finishes for their cabinetry.
Hardware is supplied by our preferred German supplier – Hettich. We also use Blum and Hafele products.
4. What type of Warranty do I get?
Complete Kitchens offer a 10 Year Warranty which covers any internal cabinet (carcass) that suffers a failure in its structural integrity as a result of materials or manufacturing defect from date of installation.
The warranty period for our cabinet doors, bench tops and internal fittings against defective materials or faulty workmanship is subject to manufacturer limited warranty. We specify Hettich or Blum hardware for our kitchens who offers a Lifetime warranty on all drawer runners, hinges and drawers; Polytec provides a 7 years warranty to their products be free from defects.

5. Do you sell appliances?
Although we do not sell appliances directly to you, we proudly showcase a great range of top brand appliances such as Miele and Smeg on our kitchen displays.
Our displays provide an opportunity for you to see the appliances in action and envision how they would fit into your kitchen design.
1. Do you replace benchtops or do small alterations of kitchen?
At Complete Kitchens, we specialize in full kitchens for existing home renovations or new builds. However, we don’t offer any service of small alterations, kitchen face-lifting or replacing just your kitchen benchtops.
2. Do you do bathroom renovations?
Although Complete Kitchens is a registered builder, we don’t do full bathroom renovations. We will custom design your vanity and recommend you a licensed domestic builder who specializes in bathroom renovations, coordinating with them during installation.
3. Do you do custom cabinetry or joinery apart from kitchens?
Yes. As a premium cabinet maker, we can design, supply and install full house lot cabinetry, including Designer Wardrobes, Laundry cabinetry, Bathroom vanities, Studies, Entertainment Unit etc. The minimum order of our cabinetry is $5,000.
4. What areas do you serve?
While we strive to provide our services to as many areas as possible, we have experienced a high demand and therefore are currently focusing on local areas, especially the South Eastern, Bayside, and Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.
However, we may be able to accommodate projects further afield depending on the size and our current capacity.

5. Do you come out to quote?
To book a qualified designer to come to your place, we charge $275 redeemable fee to provide you professional In-Home Consultation and Design Service and a Detailed Quotation instead of a free high-pressure meeting. Please refer to our Design & Quote process.
6. Can I send my plans to get a quote from you?
Unfortunately we are no longer offering free quotes off plans supplied by clients.
Instead, we offer our clients a dedicated Design & Costing package to get their kitchen projects properly designed and quoted. For more details, please go to our Design & Quote page.
7. Do you project manage the kitchen renovations ?
We provide Trade Coordination Service instead of full project management to keep your kitchen renovation budget friendly. Based on clients’ individual requests, we can estimate the trades (Plumbing, Electrician, Plaster, Tiler etc.) and if the coordination service is required, we will book and send a Trade Schedule to you a couple of weeks prior to installation. All the dates will be advised upfront so you can plan ahead.
1.What’s your production timelines for the cabinetry?
Our general production timelines are as following:
Laminate finishes 4-6 weeks
Vinyl wrap finishes 6-8 weeks
Two Pac paint finishes 8-10 weeks
Veneer finishes & French Provincial kitchen 10-12 weeks
* Manufacturing time begins from date of production drawings are signed off by clients.
** Above timelines are estimates and not guarantees, and may vary depending on project size or scope, as well as the complexity of the project.
2. How long it takes to get my stone benchtop installed?
Once your benchtop templates are ready for collection, the stonemason will be notified. The timeline for manufacturing and installation is as follows:
Reconstituted Stone: 10 working days from the time of notification;
Natural Stone: 15 working days from the time of notification.
1. When do I get an ETA of my kitchen installation?
Once you approve and sign off the production drawings, an ETA will be provided in 3-5 working days.
2. What do I need to do to prepare for my kitchen installation?
-Trades: If you or your builder organize the trades, make sure the trades to be booked to co-ordinate with the cabinetry installation;
-Access: If no one will be home, please provide a Keysafe and code for our access.
Make sure required items are on-site and the access to work areas are clear.
Clear away all of your personal property from surrounding area and cover your furniture with plastic or sheets to protect them.
Floor protection is strongly recommended and to be organized by clients.
3. What’s your cleaning standard?
Our installers and trades will take care to ensure the dust and debris is minimized. All the waste will be removed from the site, the bulk of dust will be vacuumed up. However, your kitchen or affected areas are basically building zones, detailed cleaning will still be required from the owners or professional domestic cleaners.
4. Can I install your kitchens myself?
Yes, we can supply our kitchens to you as pre-assembled or flat-packed Ex-Factory items for you to pick up or have delivered. However, please keep in mind that our kitchens are fully custom-made and designed to be installed by professional installers. We do not provide a “Do It Yourself Guide”.
Although you may be able to assemble and install the kitchen yourself, we highly recommend having our professional installers do the job. Our installers are highly skilled and experienced, and only a kitchen installed by Completed Kitchens is covered by a 10-year warranty.
1. Do you recommend and help co-ordinate all trades?
If necessary, Complete Kitchens can recommend qualified tradespeople and coordinate them for your kitchen renovations. This includes Demolition, Plastering, Electrical, Plumbing, Tiling, and Carpentry needs. Please note that flooring and painting are not included in our scope. It is the client’s responsibility to arrange all flooring—whether new installations or repairs/replacements.
